What Does Movement Bring You?

Let’s talk movement.

Merriam-Webster says MOVEMENT is:

  1. an act of changing physical location or position, or

  2. a change or development

Without movement - from cellular to celestial - we are dead. Over.

Stating the obvious, I know.

So if movement is life, wouldn’t it make sense that paying more attention to our own movements might offer up some worthwhile gifts

This is what I have come to know. Though I think I took the long way around. 🐢💫

Even after two decades of “self-help” efforts, life was somehow “less than” what I wanted it to be, how I knew it could be. I dipped in and out of addictive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, depression, anxiety. You know the drill.

Then I discovered a missing ingredient. 💡 Movement. But not just any movement. It was how I interacted with movement, how I invited movement into my everyday life, how I let movement move me. It felt and still feels risky sometimes, and the risk reaps big rewards. 💎💎

I didn’t invent this idea, but it does feel like my own personal gold rush:

How we move in our bodies is how we move in our minds, in our Everything.

Now I am fortunate to be able to guide others in exploring their own versions of these connections. We investigate what matters most to them, with generative inquiry, guided experiments, and kind curiosity.

The results?

  • Inhabit your body as your emotional navigator, your well of wisdom, your best bud.

  • Ditch self-sabotaging habits and coping strategies.

  • Match your outer expressions to your inner needs, desires, and playful creativity.

  • Create deeper connections in your most important relationships.

  • Trust your confidence in any situation.

My clients are up to big things. When they can move through their days more embodied, this means they cause more success -- whether that is inspiring more young people, building stronger partnerships for disability rights, inventing environmental solutions, or having better sex -- however they define success.

What success would you like to move into?

Work with me to make it happen. 🤜 ✨ 🤛
